Altars of the Heart

He is here, in my life, in my world, A steady force, a banner unfurled. His touch—assurance, his hold—secure, In his arms, I know, I am sure. His boldness speaks, his presence stays, Silencing doubts in tender ways. No fear can linger, no question stands, He loves me fierce, with open hands. Oh, how he lifts, how he inspires, Raising the standard, setting new fires. With honor, he calls the queen in me, Unfolding my strength, setting me free. Each day, I grow, I rise, I shine, Becoming more, his heart in mine. And so I thank my God above, For the day we met, for this endless love.

  I am held in His holy embrace, Not beside Him, not beneath— but within . All that I am and all that I carry Is not mine alone—it is Him in me. His breath is my breath, His pulse, my beat. His thoughts flow like rivers Where my spirit drinks sweet. This I know—oh, how I know— Not in mind alone, but in the marrow of my soul. We are not two, divided by sky or veil. We are one—His heart is my sail. I do not reach for Him. I do not strive. I do not beg Him to come alive. He is already here , In every whisper, every tear. When I laugh, He echoes. When I cry, He leans close. He is the echo in my silence, The stillness in my storm. No power can pluck me from His arms, No darkness undo this divine bond. The Spirit smiles, not from afar— But from inside , where His glories are. He restrains His fire, yet I feel the flame— A warmth, a light, a holy claim.
