A Day in the Life of a Woman Set Free

I wake with the sun, bathed in His light,
No chains of the past, no burdens to fight.
The Holy Spirit hums in my chest,
A song of joy, a love confessed.

My heart is no longer a wilderness land,
It blossoms with promise, guided by hand.
Gone are the echoes of longing and doubt,
For love has arrived, heaven poured out.

I sip my coffee, warm as His grace,
Feeling His presence dance in this space.
The air is electric, alive and divine,
Each breath a whisper, Beloved, you’re mine.

My phone lights up—his message is there,
A man who was chosen, an answered prayer.
Not just any love, but one set apart,
Holy Spirit-breathed, igniting my heart.

He speaks with kindness, his words are a psalm,
A melody wrapped in heaven’s balm.
Not rushed, not reckless, but steady and true,
A love that reflects the One I pursue.

The date is set, my heart leaps in flight,
Dressed in His favor, I glow in His light.
Not desperate, not searching, but walking in grace,
Knowing I’m cherished, adored in this space.

We sit at the table, laughter unfolds,
The Spirit between us, a story retold.
Not bound by the past, no fear of the end,
But love that is holy, my heart comprehends.

He prays as we part, hands intertwined,
A love that is sacred, by heaven designed.
No sorrow, no worry, no weight in my chest,
Only His peace, His joy, and His rest.

I close my eyes as the stars start to gleam,
Whispering thanks for this love unforeseen.
A woman set free, no longer confined,
Living in love that is Spirit-defined.

A Prayer of Preparation for the Bride of Christ

Heavenly Father, I come before You in humility and surrender, desiring to be prepared as a spotless bride for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, I acknowledge that without You, I can do nothing. I need Your guidance daily—fashioning my heart, my mind, my emotions, and my very being to reflect the beauty and holiness of my Bridegroom. Clothe me in purity, righteousness, and grace. Teach me how to walk in reverence and wisdom, honoring Jesus in every word I speak, every thought I entertain, and every action I take. May my love for Him deepen each day, and may my obedience to His will be unwavering. Holy Spirit, help me steward the estate You have entrusted to me. Give me the strength, wisdom, and diligence to manage my responsibilities well, that all I have may glorify the Lord. Shape my emotions and desires so they align with His, and let my heart remain tender before Him. As each milestone approaches, including my birthday and significant moments in my journey, help me prep...

Shades of Peace

The peace of God—so vast, so deep, It sings to me when I’m asleep. In dreams it flows, in visions bright, A river soft, a guiding light. One Spirit, one peace, yet oh, so wide, A thousand shades, yet none divide. Gentle whispers, quiet streams, Golden stillness wrapped in dreams. It walks with me through waking hours, Filling moments, breathing flowers. In every thought, in every beat, Its sacred hush is calm and sweet. The world may turn, the storms may rise, Yet peace remains, unshaken, wise. It crowns my heart, it holds my soul, In perfect rest, in full control. Morning breaks, and there it stays, Soft as dawn’s first golden rays. Night returns, yet still it keeps, A love that guards, a peace that speaks. No space untouched, no time unfilled, This peace of God—so strong, so still. One Spirit, one love, unbreakable chain, Forever ruling, forever the same.

Teach Me, Holy Spirit

Dear Father, how do You keep loving When creation forgets You, when Your children stray? How do You remain faithful When hearts grow cold and turn away? The plants don’t all rot in one day, The sun still rises, the rivers still run, Your mercy renews with every breath I take, A silent song sung by the morning sun. How do You sustain when we are faithless? How do You hold when we slip through Your hands? Your love is not shaken, not weary, not broken, Your patience unravels what man misunderstands. Teach me, Holy Spirit, make me like You, To love when it hurts, to hold when they fall, To shine in the night when darkness is heavy, To whisper of grace when they don’t hear Your call. I tried to detach myself from love, Then my heart stopped beating, my spirit grew cold, But numbness is death in disguise, And I longed to feel, to break free from its hold. Yet with deep feeling comes deep sorrow, And love opens doors where pain walks through, But still, You rejoice, You dance, You laugh, Eve...
